About
The room does the work
We opened in a former hardware shop and kept the copper counter. There is no television, the music stays low enough to talk over, and the back six seats are held for walk-ins every night. If you do not know what you want, say two things you like and the bartender will handle it.

Common questions
Do you take walk-ins?
Six seats at the back are held for walk-ins every night, first come. Tables are worth booking on Friday and Saturday, which usually fill by Wednesday.
Is there food?
A short bar-snack menu from $9 — designed for picking at rather than dinner. There are plenty of proper kitchens within a block if you want a full meal first.
Can we book for a group?
The back room seats eighteen with a $400 minimum spend. For the whole bar we look at Sundays and Mondays. Tell us the date and headcount and we will come back to you.
How late are you open?
1am Tuesday to Thursday, 3am Friday and Saturday, and midnight on Sunday. Last call is thirty minutes before close.
